I don't know, maybe it's me, but if I were having a solemn gathering to remember the atrocities of the holocaust, I wouldn't invite a 'former' Nazi admirer to be my guest of honor. Again, maybe I'm just missing something. Of course he does have that fund thing; it's probably just a cover-up.
